Brown Trout Fishing From The Nomad Charterboat and Captain Dan
Our season for Brown Trout is late May through late September. Full day fishing charters leave the Black River Harbor Dock at 8:00 am Central Time, and return to the dock between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. Half day charters are from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Evening cruises usually leave the dock a half hour before Sunset, and are ideal for reunions, or after work get-togethers, and are great opportunities to unwind, take pictures of the sunset, or just take it easy. These cruises are a mile or less from shore.
Nomad Charter fishing starts out in the cold waters of late May, fishing closer to shore and with “short lines” as the fish are generally near the surface as the water temperature begins to warm up. These are good times for catching Coho’s and some Browns as well as the Lake Trout and Steelhead.
Call or email early for your trophy fishing trip aboard the famous Nomad. Captain Dan knows where and how to catch the biggest fish, he has been fishing for about 30 years. You can not go wrong when you fish with Captain Dan on the Nomad.
